Hitmen Down Hurricanes

Alex Gogolev scored a pair of goals and added three assists to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 6-1 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Wednesday evening in Taber, AB.

Brooks Macek had a three-point performance (1g, 2a) for Calgary, while Brady Brassart (2g) and Pavlo Padakin (1g) also scored in the win.

Mack Shields recorded 38 saves for the Hitmen as Calgary improves to 3-0 in the pre-season.

The Hitmen now host the Red Deer Rebels on Friday, September 7 at WinSport Canada’s Markin MacPhail Centre, 145 Canada Olympic Road SW.  Doors open at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. puck drop.  Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and students.  Tickets will be available at the door.
