The Lethbridge Hurricanes edged the Calgary Hitmen 2-1 Friday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Brady Ramsay and Sam McKechnie scored for the visitors in the win, while Brooks Macek added Calgary’s lone tally, netting a power play marker late in the third period. Chris Driedger made 23 saves in the Hitmen net as Calgary outshot Lethbridge 37-25.
The Hitmen, 23-9-1-3 on the season, will head to Lethbridge tomorrow, Saturday, December 29, for the back half of the home-and-home series. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Enmax Centre.
