2009 - 2010 WHL Champions
In front of 15,335 fans at the Pengrowth Saddledome on May 7, 2010, the Calgary Hitmen beat the Tri-City Americans 4-1 to capture their second Western Hockey League title in franchise history.
 
Defenceman Michael Stone led the way with two goals, including the game-winner, while goalie Martin Jones stopped 31 of 32 shots he faced on his way to being named as most-valuable player of the series.
 
Thanks to their 4-1 series win over the Americans, the Hitmen captured the Ed Chynoweth Cup and earned a berth in the Memorial Cup in Brandon from May 14-23.
 
The Hitmen defeated Moncton and Brandon in the round robin portion of the Memorial Cup while losing to Windsor in the round robin.
 
They advanced to the semi-final but fell 5-4 to Brandon in overtime. Windsor then defeated Brandon to win the Memorial Cup.


1998 - 1999 WHL Champions
On May 7th, 1999 the Hitmen captured the WHL Championship. The Hitmen beat the Kamloops Blazers 5-2 in the Game Five of the WHL Final. A WHL record Playoff crowd of 17,139 packed the Pengrowth Saddledome.

The Hitmen became champions in only four years in the WHL.The Hitmen won the WHL by eliminating the Kootenay Ice in Round One, Red Deer in Round Two, Prince Albert in Round Three and Kamloops in the Championship Series.

The win over Kamloops advanced the Hitmen to the Memorial Cup in Ottawa. In the Championship Game the Hitmen lost 7-6 to the Ottawa 67's in Overtime.
